Lebanon's exceptional achievements in medication safety are highlighted in Uppsala Reports No. 87
Lebanon has achieved exceptional success in medication safety through the establishment of the Lebanese National Pharmacovigilance Program (LNPVP) under the guidance and continuous support of the World Health Organization (WHO) Beirut Office since 2016.
Despite being a resource-limited country, Lebanon managed to develop a comprehensive infrastructure and efficient adverse event reporting system, contributing significantly to global pharmacovigilance efforts.
The tremendous support from WHO and the partnership of the Lebanese University and the Ministry of Public Health have been instrumental in these achievements.
