MoPH Confirms its Support to Tripoli Hospitals and the Increase of the Total Financial Ceiling for 2018
The Information office of the Ministry of Public Health issued the following statement:
In a bid to eliminate some ambiguities, the Ministry of Public Health would like to reiterate its support to Tripoli’s hospitals where it increased the total financial ceiling of hospitalization, after it had set the financial ceiling of its hospitals according to a scientific equation that took into consideration many standards, although the Ministry’s budget hasn’t increased for 2018.
A comparison of the figures of the financial ceilings for Tripoli’s hospitals shows the following:
*In 2016: 9750 million LBP (gov) + 19180 million LBP (hospital) = 28930 million LBP
*In 2017: 9750 million LBP (gov) + 19780 million LBP (hospital) = 29530 million LBP
*In 2018: 9650 million LBP (gov) + 20540 million LBP (hospital) = 30190 million LBP
In conclusion, the total financial ceilings for Tripoli’s hospitals have been increased by 1260 million LBP in 2016 and 660 million LBP in 2017.
