The Ministry of Public Health announces that seven passengers out of the 108 Lebanese expatriates who flew in to the country yesterday from Madrid tested positive for COVID-19.

Four passengers out of 118 who were on the Paris flight tested also positive for the virus.

The passengers whose test results returned positive will be transferred one by one to the hospital. Those who tested negative are urged to strictly comply with home-quarantine, and they will be daily followed up on by the ministry. Any person who shows symptoms will be sent to the hospital and retested.

The test results of the passengers who flew in to the country on the flights from Istanbul and Lagos will be announced immediately after they are released.
