The media office of the Minister of Public Health Dr. Hamad Hasan noted that his office contacted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to check on the Lebanese in Wuhan, China where the coronavirus outbreak started and the preventive measures they are taking.

He was informed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs contacted, in its turn, the ambassador of Lebanon to China Milia Jabbour who assured that there are no cases of coronavirus among the Lebanese in Wuhan. She added that they are few and that the Embassy is cooperating with them on a daily basis in case they wish to leave the country, so as to ensure their safe return to Lebanon.
