أعلن نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الصحة العامة غسان حاصباني عن سعادته بوجوده في “هذا الصرح الاستشفائي الذي نفتخر به جميعا، ولاسباب عديدة سمعنا البعض منها اليوم. هذا الصرح قائم في متن لبنان لخدمة كل لبنان. نعم هناك تحديات كثيرة امام الدولة وامام القطاع الاستشفائي وتحديدا المستشفيات العامة او الحكومية، وبالرغم من انها مؤسسات عامة تتمتع باستقلالية الى حد كبير، فهي تقوم بعمل انساني كبير ايضا يتخطى واجباتها كمؤسسة وهي بطبيعة الحال تعنى بالشأن العام، تعنى بصحة المواطنين وتقوم بعمل اكبر واوسع مما يتوقع من مؤسسة خاصة. لذلك يكون هناك دائما تعاون بين الوزارة الوصية وزارة الصحة العامة في هذه الحال والمستشفى الحكومي الذي يؤدي هذه الرسالة الوطنية وهو مرفق عام، وبالتالي حكما يؤدي خدمات اضافية ونوعية باسعار قليلة وزهيدة جدا ورمزية والى حد كبير مجانية لكل المواطنين اللبنانيين”...

He started by saying that violations have been committed in one of the hospitals in 2008. The concerned pharmacist was referred to the inspection, and some suggested that this scandal occurred today with the recent developments in the case.
