ترأس نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الصحة العامة غسان حاصباني اجتماع في مبنى الوزارة في بئر حسن لجنة التنسيق والتعاون بين الجهات الضامنة العامة التي تضم وزارة الصحة، الضمان الاجتماعي، تعاونية موظفي الدولة، الطبابة العسكرية في الجيش وقوى الامن والامن العام وامن الدولة. وعقد بعده مؤتمر صحافياً قال فيه: "نلتقي اليوم عقب ترأسي، اللجنة التي تجسد النموذج التشاركي والمؤسساتي للعمل الذي اصر على تعزيزه وتعميمه منذ وصولي الى وزارة الصحة العامة. هذه اللجنة التي صدر مرسوم تأسيسها في 24 تشرين الثاني 2007 وحمل الرقم 980وبقي حبراً على ورق الى ان وصلت وترأست اول اجتماع لها ايمانا مني ان في الاتحاد قوة وان التنسيق بيننا سيكون حكماً في خدمة المريض اللبناني وتحصين القطاع الصحي وتحسينه وتعزيز الادارة الرشيدة وتفعيل الحوكمة".

أكد نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الصحة في حكومة تصريف الأعمال غسان حاصباني أن القطاع الصحي في لبنان رغم كل التحديات من شح في تمويل من خزينة الدولة لوزارة الصحة والهيئات الضامنة وضغوط النزوح السوري التي يواجهها يحافظ على صلابته جراء العلاجات الاستباقية وجهاز طبي وصحي متقدم جداً لدينا وكذلك الاستثمارات الكبيرة التي وضعت في القطاع في السابق كما الشراكة بين القطاعين العام والخاص والمجتمع الاهلي والبلديات. واضاف: "على سبيل المثال نجحنا بأن يبقى لبنان خالياً من الاوبئة نتيجة حملات التلقيح على النقاط الحدودية وفي الداخل رغم واقع النزوح السوري"...
