مفهوم الرعاية الصحية الأولية       
تشمل الرعاية الصحية الأولية الاحتياجات الصحية الأساسية للفرد والمجتمع وتتراوح بين التوعية والوقاية وصولاً الى العلاج.
تقوم على توفير مجموعة من الخدمات الصحية الأساسية لجميع أفراد الأسرة بجودة عالية وتكلفة رمزية.

عمل دائرة الرعاية الصحية الأولية
 
تعمل دائرة للرعاية الصحية الأولية في وزارة الصحة العامة من خلال فريق عمل في كافة الأقضية والمحافظات ومن خلال شبكة وطنية لمراكز الرعاية الصحية الأولية، بالتعاون مع شركاء محليين ودوليين.
