Acute Flaccid Paralysis / Polio Surveillance Report
تقرير حول ترصد الشلل الرخو الحاد وشلل الاطفال
Report of “2026-01-06”


In 2025, the number of reported AFP reached 80 patients with acute flaccid paralysis. The non-polio AFP rate reached 4.78 per 100000 under 15 years.

Following investigation, 0 wild polio and 0 vaccine derived was detected. The timely notification within 7 days from onset was 85%. The timely collection of stool samples within 14 days from onset was 95%. The timely investigation within 48 hours from notification was 98.75%.

Among the reported cases, 83.75 % were Lebanese and 16.25 % were Syrian.


خلال عام 2025، تم الابلاغ عن 80 حالة شلل رخو حاد . وبلغت نسبة الكشف عن حالات الشلل الرخو الحاد 4.78 لكل مئة الف طفل دون 15 سنة.

بناء لمعطيات التقصي، لم يتم الكشف عن حالات شلل اطفال ( 0 للفيروس البري و 0 للفيروس المتحور من اللقاح).

بلغت نسبة الابلاغ ضمن 7 ايام من ظهور العوارض 85%. اما نسبة جمع عينات ملائمة ضمن 14 يوم من ظهور العوارض فبلغت 95%. وبلغت نسبة مباشرة التقصي ضمن 48 ساعة من الابلاغ 98.75%.

من بين حالات الشلل الرخو الحاد، 83.75 % من الجنسية اللبنانية و 16.25 % من الجنسية السورية.
